Cabot Head Lighthouse

The lighthouse at Cabot Head, restored and maintained by the Friends of Cabot Head volunteer organization. This image from a gallery by Matt Myles.
Aerial photo, satellite, from Google Maps.
The road to the Cabot Head lighthouse. It's about a 20 minute drive along the shore.
The original light from years past is on display.
View from atop the light tower, looking toward Tobermory.

Wind generation at Ferndale.

Reports of rattlesnakes on the path. We decided NOT to hike because of this (and because our time was getting tight).
About fifty ships are wrecked in the waters around the Bruce Peninsula.
View out the lighthouse tower window, looking east across Georgian Bay.
