Lake Ontario is amazing. We are so privileged to live right on the shores of such a magnificent body of water. Today we headed for the beach for a couple of hours. The scene looked like a snapshot from a postcard of some famous resort area. It was wall to wall sunbathers, so to speak. When we got home we put out the box of fireworks we bought for tonight's celebrations of Canada Day. This marks a first for our family. Up to now we have not spent much on fireworks, despite the kids always longing for it. We usually just watch what everyone else is doing, or take in a big, professional fireworks display.
The weather was perfect today. I think I spent more time outside than inside. We can hear the music from Its Your Festival at Gage Park. More sounds of summer.
